       Located just two blocks from the water in the heart of downtown Elkhart Lake, WI, the historic Eastlake Bed and Breakfast has been serving lodgers since 1993. The Eastlake was the first licensed Bed and Breakfast in Elkhart Lake, and is a proud winner of BnBFinder.com's prestigious "Property of Distinction" award!

       Formerly the George Garhardt home and built in the Victorian style ca. 1899, the Eastlake Bed and Breakfast now offers a one- or two-bedroom suite with a private bath. Suites include a fully equipped country kitchen, parlor sitting room, bedroom(s) with a king bed or two twin beds, and fully tiled bath. For larger groups, the inn can also comfortably accommodate up to seven adults in four rooms with a shared bath.

       At the Eastlake Bed and Breakfast, an historic atmosphere meets the comforts of modern amenities. Rooms are furnished with period antiques and have individual room-controlled air conditioning, cable TV and internet access. A "help yourself" continental plus breakfast, available in the guest's own country kitchen, is included in lodging rates. Eat what you like at a time that suits your schedule, choosing from rolls, bagels or English muffins with delicious "toppers" like Wisconsin creamery butter, jams, nut butters, and cream cheese. Also available are cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola bars, fruit juice, milk, tea and coffee. A platter of sweet rolls, muffins or coffee cake is often included. We provide bags, wraps and cups should you wish to take your breakfast "on the go.

       Plush robes, irons and ironing boards, hair dryers and personal care products are always available for your comfort and convenience. Guests also enjoy their own private entrance, an ornate sitting porch and a furnished fountain garden.

       The Eastlake Bed and Breakfast provides smoke-free lodging and is open year 'round. Reservations are required. Daily, weekly, off-season, business, government and extended- stay rates are available.

House Policies:

       Please note that our Dalmatians are kept in the house. Although we try to restrict them to the first floor with us, they are curious and occasionally find their way to the guest areas. If you are afraid of dogs or are allergic to them, please allow us to help you find accommodations at another location. (You can see photographs of our Dalmatians in our Family Photo Album!)

       We are usually not able to accommodate children or pets. If you are traveling with them, please inform us when you call for reservations and we will do our best to fill your needs or recommend other lodging facilities that may work perfectly for you.

       For the comfort of all our guests, smoking is not allowed in the guest rooms but you may use the front veranda to smoke. Guests are asked to park on the street, though off-street parking is available by arrangement.

       Because we respect the environment and believe in protecting animals from mistreatment, we use products that are not "cruelty tested," both at home and in our businesses, in support of companies that have banned testing their products on live animals.

Note: Wisconsin Sales Tax and Elkhart Lake Room Tax are added to all room rentals. Charges must be paid in cash or by personal check. We do not accept credit cards at this time.

Double rooms are available with one king bed or two twin beds. Private Use and Business Traveler rates are also available. Reservations are suggested, and we welcome your inquiries.
