The "JULIA" Room

       Named for your hostess's mother, JULIA is furnished with antiques and eyelet lace, while an ornate ceiling fan overhead keeps the fresh air circulating. Plush Oriental carpets complement the hardwood floor, and "Julia" features a sitting area with a comfortable easy chair, cable TV, and an antique dresser with mirror.        "Julia" and "Rose," along with the fully-equipped kitchen and bath, may be rented as an apartment for up to five people. "Julia" can also be set up with one king or two twin beds, to sleep one or two. (Click here to see "Julia" made up with two twin beds.)

       This room features a lovely view of our extensive flower garden and our Garden Angel, sculpted exclusively for The EASTLAKE. Julia's windows also look out on the historic Elkhart Lake train depot. (Click here to see the view from Julia.) During your stay at The EASTLAKE, you might enjoy walking over to the Depot Museum. Nearly 100 years old, the depot is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and contains many original depot furnishings, as well as newspaper clippings, photos, and mementos of the community's history.
